tein vs?

just curious how the tein coilovers with the edfc stack up against the other ones out there. I like the on the fly adjustment idea but how is the rest of the setup?

thanks

Tein coilovers are alright, and having the EDFC is definitely a pretty nice convenience feature. Having owned a few adjustable coilovers though I will say that after I've found settings I liked, I never adjusted them much haha.

I had some Teins years ago and they treated me well. Drove on them for about five years without any issues at all.

I have had my Tein Flex coil overs for about 80k now and they are just starting to creak on me. Other than that I have not had a single problem with them.

How is the ride quality compared to oem non-sport suspension? I'm looking for a comfortable ride and dont care much for performance.

If you are referring to my post I had non sport suspension so going from that to coil overs was a night and day difference. At first I thought I made a mistake getting coil overs. But, after driving with them for a while and turning down the stiffness I got used to them. The spring rate is 12/671 and 12/671. They are also 16 way adjustable and are EDFC compatible.

I'm wondering how Tein Basics compare to non-sport oem suspension. They dont have damper adjustability but i read that the factory setting is not bad.

Basics are very street friendly. Definitely a pretty solid daily setup.

^I prefer a stiff ride as well, which is why I switched brands, but honestly for what they cost, Teins are a pretty good choice for those that want a moderate drop and a comfortable ride.
