Question on G35 coupe SPC rear camber kit
Question on G35 coupe SPC rear camber kit
hey guys,
My question is regarding the SPC rear camber kit on my 2006 G35 coupe 6MT.
I have the car lowered by 1"-1.5", and installed the SPC rear camber kit. After going to an alignment shop, they told me that they can adjust the toe back to 0 degrees but the best they can do on the rear camber was -3 degrees.
After some investigation, I realized that the rear camber arms were installed properly but I did not elongate the toe bolt area (by the rear control arms).
I have two questions:
1) What is the best camber I can get if i go through the extra effort to elongate the toe bolt area?......the SPC box says +/-4 degrees on camber, so does that mean i can actually bring the rear camber back to -1 or even zero?
2) My toe is now back to factory specs at 0 degrees, how detrimental is it to my tires if i continue to run at 0 degree toe and -3 degree camber.
Thanks guys.
