Car way out of alignment, no drop.

Hi Guys

I've been having an ongoing issue with the alignment for my front wheels. Recently the issue became alot worse, I ended up chewing the inside of my front tires out within 4000 km's.

There is no drop on the vehicle and suspension parts are all stock. One mechanic noted that the compression rod bushings and bearings are bad on both rods. Also noted was that the bushings on the lower control arms are torn.

I've had the alignment last year, and the alignment shop did say that they couldn't get the front properly aligned.

Another mechanic is suggesting I get a camber kit in the front and replace the compression rods, i'd like to avoid this due to the cost and I see no reason why to get a camber kit with no drop as there is clearly something else causing this.

Could these two issues be resulting in my severe camber wear? Would it be safe to say that replacing the lower control arm bushing and compression rods will get the alignment straight? Or should I be going the adjustable control arms and compression rod route?

Fix these two issues and you should be in better shape after an alignment.

Replace the worn parts of your suspension that should give them the ability to get your alignment back to OE specs. If not find a new alignment shop that knows how to do their job. Just because a shop has an alignment rack doesn't mean they know how to use it....sadly!
