PSA: Adjustable Endlinks For Fantastic Price
PSA: Adjustable Endlinks For Fantastic Price
Hey everyone. If you guys saw my thread earlier today, I wrote a review for the Whiteline Bushings here: Whiteline Bushing Review
I have been investing a lot of time & resource into repairing my deteriorating suspension, and after successfully fixing the bushings problem, my next goal was to fix the clunking noises coming from my sway bars area. Some of you are aware that bad endlinks will end up making a loud clunk noise when going up ramps, speed bumps, driveways, etc., especially for the 03-05 models. My understanding is that the 06-07 models have beefier end links, but if you lowered your car it is recommended to get adjustable end links.
After conducting weeks of research (Yes, plenty of searching and searching and searching), the only end links that came up for G35s are the SPLs, Powergrids, Whiteline, and Circuit Sport. But the prices were too steep for the SPLs (Which I heard makes clunking noises) and Powergrid (Which I heard are amazing quality, but high price), the Whiteline (Which I heard vendors are not a fan of for our cars) and Circuit Sports (Very few people spoke highly of them).
Edit: I just learned of the AMS end links also. Decent pricing also for these end links, and they were described as beefy. Locktite was suggested by SDGenius, with the assumption that the nut can get loosen over time.
Well, I stumbled upon this on a 350z website.

I was planning to write a review on this after purchasing and installing them. However, I discovered today when ordering the end links that he is running Holiday Discount and I wanted to share this with everyone ASAP so that no one misses out on the deal.
He is currently running a Holiday Special for $245 shipped for both front/rear sets. (Almost $100 cheaper than SPL or Powergrid!). I think you may need to email him to get the price, it is still listed as $275 shipped on the website. This is the best deal I have stumbled upon for endlinks, and his products, based on my research, are well respected in the 350z community.
I asked if these end links will loosen up over time, and according to Jason, these end links will not loosen up compared to the other end links on the market that has this issue. Once you torque the nuts, you won't have to worry about them again. (This is the biggest selling point for me. I rather not deal with needing to re-torque every few thousand miles). I will be testing this out once I install them and update the thread in a few weeks/months.
For some reason, I found these endlinks nowhere on G35 websites. (Unless again, my search skills suck). Jason informed me that these end links work for G35s.
I will be planning to write a review for these end links once I receive them. I'll update this thread soon and report to see if it fixes my clunking noise.
I don't know when the holiday discounts end, but this is a fantastic deal for anyone looking for end links right now. Hopefully this will help out some people.

Ah, I did not find this brand of end links at all. My search skills probably do suck. Good to know there are more alternatives. I'll do some research on these and maybe I can update my thread to include these also.

Does anyone know if the AMS end links require the nuts to be re-torqued every so often? Aside from the price, that was one of the biggest deciding factor for me was knowing that the end links do not loosen up overtime.

Got them this week. Some BEAUTIFUL and BEEFY end links... can't wait to put them on. I'll be writing a review on them after my installation on January 22nd. If anyone is looking for end links, grab em now with the holiday discount!
