I posted this on my350z also just to get a final answer,
I've searched on both forums and read many different things about either cutting, resurfacing slotted rotors. I have even read to the whole drive and stop thing to get the old deposits off the rotors. My question is which is the right thing to do cause i'm doing my brakes this week and kind of confused.

Some say cut.....
Some say resurface.........

Any help is appreciated.

Do you have pulsation when braking?

If not, don't worry about it.

If your rotors aren't warped you don't need either! If they're within specs all you'll need to do is lightly sand them before installing the new pads. FYI: if you don't want your rotors warped only allow wheel/tire installers to use a torque wrench set at 85 lbs while installing....Gary
