clunk noise right rear pass. side... bc racing coils quick question!!!!!!
Yeah mine was in the front so an easy fix because I dd not need to remove the coilover.. But if it makes you feel better i thought it was the control arm bushing so I replaced that for no reason.
Try pushing very hard and violently down on the car while parked making it bounce (where clunking is coming from). I was able to simulate the knocking noise by applying force. That may help you diagnose before going to work on the car... Good luck

Pop of the coil and tighten the top of the coil to spec and then put it back and make sure the strut mount bolts are torqued to spec as well. Should be a simple 10-15 min per side job and then either you'll have fixed the problem or at very least knocked those two possible causes off the list.
yeah, 15 minute job man. jacked up the back rear pass side, took the wheel off. unbolted the shock, the top bolt was tight already so i just reinstalled it and it went away. my guess was it was the 2 bolts that hold the coil into the strut tower. makes a little squeaky noise now occassionally but not the thump/clunk that i was getting before. thanks for the input everyone.
