Advice on drilled/slotted rotors

So I'm trying to upgrade to drilled/and slotted rotors and my friend has a connection to get me rotors from EBC. (Here is their website link: http://www.ebcbrakes.com/) I know they're not Brembo or a really huge name but I'm not so concerned about that. My question is, as far as performance, long lasting endurance of the rotor, and brand quality; how are these rotors overall? Anybody have any experience with these? Any information helps. Thanks fellas.

EBC is pretty solid. I've had'em before in pad form and I know people who've used their rotors. I mean, I wouldn't fool yourself into getting these for performance. But, they look good and you'll stop. What else do you need.

It's pretty well accepted that drilled/slotted actually decrease braking performance compared to blank rotors. Not trying to tell you not to get them because I also have considered them because I really like the look they give and don't really drive my car hard enough to likely ever notice the difference in decreased brake performance; rather I just want to make you aware, if you're not already, that you shouldn't expect better braking performance from them. Also be aware of the potential issue of cracking that some drilled rotors have.

If you're just considering this because you want better braking the best way to get that would be by first getting better tires and then maybe considering oem brembos/akebonos/bbk for resistance to brake fading.

If you going to drive to a track day in my opinion DBA XS + ferodo racing DS2500. I try few brands /not EBC/ most disc are easy to twist, pads become close to cheese after few harder stops or are too hard to stop when they are cold. ds2500 is good when they are cold and become better and better when get hotter (ideal for daily car + some track days, noise is less than HAWK dtc compound). This combo last for long + price of DBA in USA is just grab and run . So you have to decide do you want some rotors that looks gold/black like(XS are gold trim like brembo clips ) or you need some stop power and go for some tested brand (not needed to be my combo but some that community/test proven).
