Hey.. I just got an order for a brake caliper piston and seal and some speed bleeders from Rock Auto.. they sent me the Doorman 12706 speed bleeders with the Dimensions listed as M10-1.0 x 33mm

These are way to big.. does anyone know what size our bleeders are on the stock braked coupes?

Thanks...

Ok.. just called RockAuto and they guy said Doorman Part number 12706 can only work on the front brakes and that the front and rear brakes have two different size bleeder valves? That seems odd to me.. does that make sense to anyone here? If so.. do you know of a speed bleeder valve that we can use on the rear brakes of the coupe (standard brakes, non brembo)

Thanks...

I bought CARLSON Part # H9409 from RockAuto, their site says it fits front/rear but the screws that come in the package are all the same size. I haven't actually test fitted them yet. I had a hard time finding a source that had the brake bleeders for the G35.

Thanks for your response...

This may help anyone who comes into this situation like me...

The Front brakes takes a bleeder size of 10mm x 1 and the overall length is 35mm
The Rear brakes take a bleeder size of 7mm x 1 and the overall length is 1mm

How odd.. they take 2 different sizes. (at least when it comes to speed bleeder valves)

If you need front speed bleeders Doorman Part # 12706 will fit
or
Edelbrock/Russell Performance Part #639560

For the rears
Edelbrock/Russell Performance Part # 639570

I hope that helps if you still are looking for them... or anyone else who comes across this down the road.

Awesome! I just found the same information too. The rear bleeder is actually 34mm in length I believe. Had I not come across your thread, I would have had a little surprise when it came time to installing the screws in the rear! Now I can order the right ones - thanks!
