Front Lower Control Arm Flex - Normal?
Ok guys, i was installing my revised 350z suspension last night, and i jacked up the suspension from below the ball joint were it meets the control arm so i can compress the springs a bit before putting the spring compresser on, and i looked at the damm arm and it looked really bent, so i lowered it and it bent back it seemed. is this nornal?
the arm looks kind of bent just sitting there so it was hard to tell if i did any damage. should i be ok? once i was done i took the car for a drive around the block and it drove fine. just thought it was weird because it flexed a LOT. never seen a control arm flex like that...

no i mean the actual metal part.
also i stripped the sway bar end link. if anybody in socal has a die for a 12x1.25 bolt please let me know! apparently this is the only damm size thats not available in most kits!

Probably not the worst thing, and you'll likely be able to get by for a while on it, but a bent suspension arm is never a great thing either. It also likely means you're out of alignment.

well, i thought it was bent out of shape, so i checked the other side and it loooed the same. Are they supposed to be slightly bent forward towards the front of the car? Kind of like this angle…. /
the car was not out of alignment, and still looks good....
like i said, it bent back to what seems to be its original shape, just wondering if this type of flex is normal? they both flexed.. so i am thinking it is.
edit: picture is what i am talking about. it is slightly curved/bent from factory.
