Tokiko HP Blues installed however car still rides rough
I bought some Tokiko HP Blues Front and Rear Shocks for my 03 G35 Sedan RWD.
It's been Installed, but my car still rides terrible. The mechanic that did the install tells me it's because of the blue shocks and that their just too stiff. He told me I should have gotten a quickstrut or a monroe, kyb shock.
I have the Original Stock Springs on my car also. The mechanic told me I don't need to replace springs because they don't wear out.
The car feels like its all old because I can feel every little bump on the road and have to go real slow when going over big bumps or potholes and it feels like the car will break when going normal speed over bumps on the road.
I just was looking for a comfortable ride somewhat restoring what it felt like when I bought this car new. I'm at 100k now,
I replaced the compression rods, tires, stabilizer links as well. Im thinking it's gotta be my springs, but they look fine and the height of my car is still the same, no sagging.
Need some advise on if I should buy new stock springs at the dealership.
Looking online for springs is confusing, they all say lowering springs, but I don't feel the need to lower my car because it's my everyday car to work and I got kids that ride in the back seat. Was I supposed to pair the blues with the tokiko springs? The mechanic is almost positive its not the springs, and that I should buy his monroe sensatracs. He says it will definately make my ride comfortable. Need your guys input or thoughts thanks...

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
OP your car doesn't ride rough because the springs are shot. It rides rough because you put stiffer shocks on it than came stock. If you want a "plush" ride, heed your mechanics advice and go with a softer shock brand.
I'll agree with ItsA though on the springs, replace yours with the ones he mentioned or the sedan version of the Tien H-Techs. They'll drop the car a bit and make it look and handle better.
