BC racing coilovers install nightmare?

So i got my coilovers installed yesterday i picked up the car. drove home, crazy knock in the front right, sounds like compression rod bushing (ive had it go bad before) but different.

anyway thats not the biggest deal. i look at the rear, and i checked online.... the rear springs are upside down!!

I look at these pictures

http://www.infinitig37.com/infiniti-...rue-coils.html

This one in particular

http://www.infinitig37.com/tech-imag...coilover-2.jpg

And the rear spring is flipped over.... the thread is facing downward!!! is that right?!?!?!

really? every picture i could find has them facing up. the way mine are installed is the thread is down in the aluminum arm, and the spring part is sitting on the stock rubber mount on top.

I figured the spring itself goes in the aluminum arm? no?

The adjustable threaded part sits up top & the spring seated in the OEM rubber boot sits in the bottom.

Ya, the spring isn't seated correctly thats why you're probably hearing the clunking because its moving around.

Also should i ask for a refund or for him to fix it?

refund would be nice so i can take it to someone who can do it right, but if my springs are messed up i kind of need him to be doing it so he can see that and he has to replace mine

I'd be pretty pissed if I paid someone to install my coilovers and they did it incorrectly. The front noise may be the top nut being loose, check that. Or any of the 3 top-hat nuts... Goodluck m8
