Brembo Rotors

I have a 2003 G35 Coupe 55K and need to replace my Rotors (does not have the Brembo brake pkg.) What is the best Rotor for DD? I am looking at the Brembo rotors and have used them on my other cars.

Your welcome.l think if you went with brembo you would have to get new calipers also.

No they have Brembo rotors for the standard brake calipers that I have on my car. My car does not have the Brembo rotors and calipers.

My suggestion, DBA rotors available in 3 configurations sloted/drilled or both. There is no comparison between DBA rotors and other brands, they're the very best! Brake pads, HAWK HPS pads will stop like OE and triple the life along with almost zero dust... how can you beat that? Both rotors and pads are available from our Marketplace under vendor brakes.

I've used Project MU NS pads on my Brembo coupe for years now and they perform just like the OEM Brembo pads at less cost.

Have used Hawk HPS on other cars and have never liked them for the street. Poor initial bite, especially in the cold or rainy weather.

Any other recommendations for rotors & pads for cars that do not have the Brembo brake package? I'm looking for new pads & rotors for my '05 sedan.

gary c - I believe DBA rotors are only for cars with the Brembo package. The OP stated he did not have the Brembo package, but I think he does have Brembo rotors that fit his car currently installed.

I'm looking at the R1 Concepts premium slotted rotors front & rear w/ Hawk HPS pads for $555. That seems around what I expect to pay, but I want to make sure I'm getting quality parts. 14 years ago I used Hawk HP Plus pads on my '99 Civic and those pads bit down hard. They were a bit noisy, but the performance was worth it.

Other recommendations are welcome. I think several of us would like to know your experience with different rotors and pad set ups. I'd love to hear people's comments on anyone's experience with using the R1 Concepts.
Thanks!
-T
