While changing my front brake pads and rotor I noticed the fitment of the pads on the rotor is very tight.It is so tight that I can't spin the wheel by hand after putting the wheel back on. This only occurs only on the driver side and not the passengers. I have never had this happen before so im lost, any thoughts

 

You really have to force the pressure cylinder of each caliper to get it at the bottom. Some times there is rust built up and you probably did not press it far enough!

 

I forced it as far back as it would let me, or at least I thought. I tried several time to do so but couldn't, is this be a caliper problem? I'm getting vibration during braking even after replacing both front rotors and pads.

 

Rebuild the caliper it should go flat

 

I would not drive it if it's that tight! You will ruin the pads and overheat the rotors quickly. Make sure you had the correct pads and rotors. Since you did not change the caliper, it should not be the caliper issue.

 

When you used the C-clamp to push in the caliper pistons, did they both press in all the way? Sometimes rust builds up inside the caliper, especially when the brake fluid is not routinely bled and water gets in the caliper and causes the rust. If this is the case, the caliper should be replaced.

Double check that both pistons are fully seats, as well as check both caliper slide pins and ensure that both are free to move in and out of the pad guide bracket.

make sure shims are installed correctly, and not doubled up accidentally as this could cause the fit to be tight.

With new rotors and pads, and the caliper pistons fully in, the brake should still freely spin without much resistance
