That sounds like an upper strut mount or a compression arm BALL JOINT (not bushing)

ok, thanks man. I am gonna take it to my buddy who just hasn't had time to look at it yet. I hope it's a decently easy fix, I can't stand the sound anymore

Just so you all know, I will soon have brand new mevotech arms with energy bushings pre greased and installed. I can ship them to your door so you have the new ball joint AND poly bushings. They'll be wrapped and ready to install so you experience no down time. Pop the old ones off, pop the new ones on. PM me if interested.

That actually sounds pretty good! When I changed all my pads and rotos out, the suspension parts that I could see really well looked new and well maintained... I guess I'm just surprised but with this weather, I don't want anything to so with DIY work

The sounded ended up being the compression rid, I replaced both in the front as well and the inner and outer tie rods, shocks and struts, etc etc

Thanks. Did you replace the upper strut mounts or seats?

I am trying to identify a clunk that is very similar to your recording.

Thing is, my compression rod and transverse link are only 1 year old. Upper link (camber arm) and tie rod ends were loose, and just replaced.

Pry tests didn't reveal any loose joints.

Yes I replaced my mounts as well. When my mechanic went though the car he told me the sound was 100% the compression rod where it bolts up. I didn't see if for myself so I can't completely describe it but I damn near replaced everything on the car so I can't narrow it down. I did all the tie rods, rack and pinion, sway link, compression rods, shocks struts and adjustable camber arms. It's pretty much a brand new suspension underneath
