Replacement control arm bushings.
Replacement control arm bushings.
Alright so my 2005 G35 coupe (with 91,000 km ~ 57,000 miles) still has it's original bushings (yes even the control arm) but I believe it's time for me to replace it. It's strange though because the car stays dead straight, I don't hear any clunk when breaking or accelerating. (Except for the ever so popular rear passenger clunk when going over bumps)
The reason why I think I need to get them replaced is because while on the highway if I hit a patch of uneven road, it feels like my car jumps sideways about a foot or two and I have to correct it back into my own lane. I had the front suspension checked last summer (twice to make sure) and the mechanic said there is 0 play in the wheel so no need to get them changed, but just wanted your opinion.
I will get some pictures posted tomorrow (it's night time right now so I can't really get any clear pictures).
Also anyone know any trust worthy mechanics in Ottawa. Any insight would be appreciated, thanks.

My car is at 117,000mi with all stock bushings...
I would check your compression rod bushings. I'm replacing mine soon as well as lower control arm bushings and kinetix upper control arms.
