Need some advice BBK

Alright guys so I took my car into the shop the other day and they said I needed new pads and my rotors refinished.
My car has 160k and I'm not sure if the rotors are original or not. So I'm just thinking to upgrading to a BBK. Akebonos to be exact because well, Brembos along with others are way out of my budget.
Is it worth it?
I don't drive out on a track, but there are jerks on the 5 and 405 who don't know when to stop or just love to brake check me..
Any advice from people that have them would be appreciated!

BBK won't necessarily help with the brake check.

Just get better pads, no need for a BBK if you don't track the car.

No need to drop a grand because someone brake checks you.

I was gonna upgrade to brembos but not going to now.. Check go make sure your calipers are working correctly, one of my pins was stuck and my brake pedal would go down kinda far.. Cleaned and lubed everything up and they work so much better..

Probably the biggest factor in the stopping situation you are describing is having parts in good working order and the correct pads. You don't need pads that are track intended and need to be heated up before working properly. You need pads that will work when COLD.

Cool, I will just stick to buying new rotors and pads. But I have a question,
will Stoptech slotted rotors fit my stock calipers?
The premium line brake rotors to be exact from this website
