Whiteline Bushings Popping While Driving - VSS/Slip
04 g35 coupe
I had a shop install two replacement bushings as I was simply tired of dealing with rusted bolts and such myself. They replaced the bushings up in front of the car under the factory brace that have to do with braking. They are the larger bushing that includes washers from Whiteline. Sorry if the description sucks I cant recall the exact name off hand & I dont have the packaging anymore.
Anywho anytime I brake the front right of the car has a distinct loud pop. This occurs if i have to use my brakes sometimes anything over like 50% or when I first get in my car after it sits for a little while and the first time it moves I hear it. I dont have my key lock currently to take the wheel off and see whats going on but hoping to have some time this weekend.
On a side note I also have a slip/vss light on & the shop said its a angle steering sensor that needs to be re-calibrated from nissan because all my bushings were replaced. This light was not on until they did those "2" bushings and replaced my rear brake pads.
Has anyone ever heard of this? I am going to run the code myself this weekend if I can get the car over to my garage. The vss/slip comes off after driving for about 15-20 minutes. Brake fluid level is fine as that was my first thought.

You're referring to the compression rod bushings. Mine are making the exact same noise. https://g35driver.com/forums/brakes-...ml#post6990327
I don't have any problems with slip/vss light though. Have the bushings checked with suspension loaded (on ground or drive on lift) and make sure they're not shifting. I did get warranty replacements for mine, but haven't had a chance to instal them yet.
