Suspension Rebuild

I've got 135k miles on my G35. Nothing has been done to it outside of tire work, brake work, and oil changes. I've discovered my Lower Control Arm Bushings are shot. I want to do some suspension work and a possible switch to 350z struts/shocks/springs. I'll be using this link as a guide for what parts I need to rebuild.

https://g35driver.com/forums/brakes-...ion-parts.html

My only question is: How can I find out how to check these components before just wasting the money on them? If parts do not need to be replaced, I do not plan on replacing them.

Depends, are you mechanically inclined to check yourself?

If not, best to go take a visit to a trustworthy mechanic, have him drive the car and then put it on a lift to isolate what needs to be worked on.
