Replacing Day time running lights

Hey crew, so one of my day light running lights were just burned out a couple of weeks ago and I'm thinking now to replace both of them. I found DIYs to how to remove the bumper to get to the lights. What I want to know is that are there any other options for day light running lights instead of the yellow ones? like perhaps LEDs? If anyone got them swapped for something else let me know, I prefer not to have some white ones instead.

Only Canadian G's have DRL's from the factory.

That makes sense then. I thought on my 09 Maxima I could have them turned on...could be wrong that may have been a different car I owned.

Well your options are limited considering the factory DRL's on the 07-08 are the high beams running at 50% power.

Whatever you do affects the high beam as well

Wrong, Canadian DRL's for 07/08 Sedans illuminate the fog lights at 50%. Our Highbeans are HID's.

You don't need to take the front bumper off to replace the DRL's. I just removed both air filter boxes and there is more than enough room to change the bulbs through there. Takes about 20 mins tops.
