My alutec strut bar cleared my 1/2 inch intake manifold spacer...pics
so I was looking around for a upper front strut bar for my 05 6mt and it was a issue due to me having a 1/2 inch intake manifold space that most bars wouldn’t clear and I came across the brand alutec and it stated it clears 5/16 and 1/2 inch spacers so I gave it a try. True enough it clears with no issue and it’s about a 1/4 of a inch space between manifold and my bar as you can see in pics below.
Sorry to bring up this old thread or if you even have the car anymore but I also have an alutec strut bar with the Z1 angled plenum spacer. And it touches on the 2 sides of the plenum and it vibrates. I was wondering since yours looks like it is touching in the picture if you ever found a fix for this? Or just ran it like this letting it rub and vibrate on the plenum?

I don’t be trippin on thread getting revived I don’t know why people get so butt hurt behind a old thread post. That’s what we post and are here for to show and help people....I still have my car and bar and as far as your question mine does not touch at all I have the 1/2 spacer but it does clear on mine
