Stiff Shocks?

My super wide wheels sometime scrub (up and down) when hitting a decent size bump or going over and down a hill. I'm thinking stiff shock will fix this. Anyone recommend any?

Stiffer springs will reduce the scrub but ideally you should do something to stop it scrubbing permanently. Like rolling the fender edge, changing out for different size tires or something along those lines. There's been occasions where a scrubbing tire gets stuffed/stuck in a wheel well on whatever it's scrubbing and the wheel locks up.....

Stiffer shocks are nothing more than a band aid! Find the location in which your tires are rubbing, locate a quality body shop and have your wheel wells pulled/rolled! I made the mistake of buying wheels with the wrong offset in '05 and blame myself for not doing the slightest amount of research, all it cost me was 1/2 the cost of a set of Volks!

Fenders are rolled. I have 11.5 wide back there. It hardly scrubs at all only if I hit a bad bump or go up and over a train crossing where you get a up and back down motion in the road.

"hardly scrubs at all" = you have a car capable of damaging itself during regular operation of the suspension.

That scrubs? Really? Looks like you have plenty of room. What springs do you have? Maybe your shocks are completely blown.

Thats what I was thinking. Shocks are factory. I was just thinking of going with a stiff spring to assure it doesn’t happen anymore. I’m sure they will take care of the problem.

I was thinking about this and you may wanna look at some of the big wheel threads. I think with 11.5" wheels you gotta add some camber or slightly pull the fenders. I don't know a ton about that, but that's a big a$$ wheel. There is a big wheel threads somewhere on here.
