Heim (spherical) joints for street?

Personally they're too harsh for street driving. They definitely don't last as long under TRACK CONDITIONS but I have no idea how long solid bushings last on a road car.
However once you hit a high WHP threshold you typically just switch out poly for solid because you're getting too much suspension movement and it's affecting launch with street slicks.

They will not last long at all when compared to polyurethane. As you drive, corrosion from weather and small bits of dust and dirt stick on to the surface of that exposed joint and slowly eats away at the surface causing the the joint to open up some more which in turn lets MORE debris in to grind at the bushing and it will deteriorate rather quickly. Just buy a set of poly or hardened rubber bushings and call it a day if your car sees street driving at all. There's really no need for spherical unless you're racing competitively and absolutely cannot afford to have flex in suspension components.
