Every time I hit the brakes while driving at any speed, I hear a loud thump sound from the passenger front. Any ideas on what could be causing it, brakes are relatively new 145k on the clock

 

There's a lot of moving parts, get it up on jackstands and start prying around to see what's loose.

Typically an alignment shop can find issues in minutes, just let them know ahead of time you're coming in for a diagnostic and not an actual alignment. Typically only costs 1 hour of labor.

If you have more than 100k miles on the front end then you are probably due to replace EVERYTHING, sport car parts wear out quickly usually.
