Loud Metal pop or thump as i pull into the drive way(all the time)
For the last two weeks as i drive into the driveway which is a right turn and the drive way slops upwards, i hear a loud thump or metal pop from the passenger side of the car. The sound seems to come from the top of the door or the right side of the sunroof, cant really pinpoint it. The sound best described would be if someone were to throw a rock at the side of your car or someone door dinging you, it def sounds metal. I have no idea what this could be im guessing uneven body or something crazy like that. Has anyone else had this problem, and is this something the dealer would deal with??
it is the sunroof. apparently this has been brought to the attention of the dealers and they said it's just the way the roof was designed.
it drives me nuts everytime i hear my roof flexing. makes it feel like the car's about to bend apart.

i thought it was the sunroff also. turns out to be a LOOSE REAR AXLE BOLT. get this fixed asap or else. and yes, the sunroff also pops.. so does the window. but doen't sound as bad as the rear axle bolt.
check out the vid. if it sounds like this when going over a bump, driveway etc... its the rear axle bolt.

i have a popping sound coming from the passenger side rear..its not that loud and makes the noise everytime i hit a bump or turn the left or right.....Whenever i got underneath there my passenger side axle shaft has play in it...it moves back in forth....everytime that i adjust my SPC camber arm and toe bolts the play will go away..but when i try to correct it the noise comes back. anyone ever had this problem after lowering there vehicle?

I brought the car back a few weeks later when I had some more time and this time went with the mechanic for the test drive until we heard the noise together. This go around he took the headliner off the car and noticed that some of the sunroof bolts were actually loose and that was what was causing the popping noise. He retorqued the bolts and put the headliner back on. Went for the final test drive and the noise was gone. It was covered under warranty so I didn't have to pay for anything.
Hope this helps you.

Mine made an annoying noise, hard to put into words, with what seemed like small popping with the noise too.
Sprayed/wiped the rubber with pure silicon months ago and so far noise hasn't come back.
