I assume your talking about the Akebono calipers? They will work with an adapter for the front and a direct fit for the rears but if I recall the rotors from the q50/q60 won't work on our G's. You'd have to get the 370z/g37 Akebono rotors (Doesn't have to be OEM you can also get aftermarket rotors as long as they are for Akebonos). I am in the process of purchasing everything I need for the swap as well.

Is it worth it? There will be a big difference in stopping power compared to stock and you can't beat the looks vs. the oem setup. It's worth it to me since I despise how the oem brakes look and I need something nice to compliment my Nismo V1's lol so it's more for looks than performance on my end.

Those look sick😍. Yeah it's not about performance here either my stock 03 calipers be looking prehistoric lol I have like 3 salvage yards within 5 miles of my house so I'm gonna checkout what q50/q60 they have and go from there. Thanks for the reply man really really good info to know, good luck with the build.

Found a local guy who has a wrecked g37s hes trying to part out, its has the 14 inch rotors and the silver akebono calipers, I offered him 400 for the fr and rear calipers and rotors, going to pick them up this coming weekend. Car only had 80,000 miles on it amd the setup has no scratches they look brand new. Already running 25mm spacers all around on my enkei 18×8.5 god I hope they fit cause it's a steal at that price.

they look good especially with my all black theme and gloss black wheel

Man I've been searching forever for a steal like that for months! Lowest I usually see for a set of them is about $500 or so for OEM and that's for just the calipers themselves lol

Haha thanks man I've been looking for few months but just got serious about searching for a good price. He texted back today and told me price I told him I'll be there tomorrow to get them. By the pic the rotors are a little rusty but the car has been sitting so I'll have them turned if I dont like the finish I'll get new rotors but I cant complain too much cause the price. I called z1 today to see if they have the bracket for the front calipers they said it's like 98 dollars so I'll swing threw there and pick that up to prob this week as well so I'll have everything to mount them whenever I decide. There's some decent deals on ebay right now too

Went and picked them up today boys, akebono calipers off a g37s with rotors, took rotors to orielys to get them to mic them to see if they can be turned and rotors have never been turned so I'll be doing that with new steel braided lines next month, of course I have to pay 98 dollars for z1 mounting bracket for the fronts to fit but hey couldn't beat the price of 250 😁😁😁

Congrats on the great find my guy! I'll be buying the adapters soon as well but Z1 has them priced at $148 on their website. I wonder if it's a sale they have going on or stuff is cheaper if you're local and can pick up. Hope it's a sale lol I'll be purchasing a few items from them in a week or two

That's what I meant its 148 sorry I was thinking about the brake lines I believe just runs from caliper to mount inside fender well I believe that's what was 98 dollars but, I'm thinking of painting them honestly, maybe blue with black akebono sticker not sure yet but the silver just looks plane and this blue would match my spacer. Idk yet what do you think too ricey?? I feel like I spend way to much damn money at z1 but gotta pay to play I guess.

Lol ah yup that makes sense now

I think that blue would look nice and "ricey" would be painting your stock calipers so they stand out lol. You can pretty much paint the Akebonos any color and they still wouldn't be considered "Rice".
