Hello everyone, this is my first post so hopefully I'm not asking a question that has already been answered.

I have a 2005 g35 coupe with the sport package and I was wondering if the brake pads are the same between the sport package and the standard automatic model. Note that the sport package consists of dual piston front calipers.

I have done a lot of research and I just could not find any answers. I have also called several Infiniti dealers and have gotten mixed answers. Some say it's the same and some say there different.

The reason why I'm asking is because I track my G and I would like to buy the EBC redstuff on eBay, but they do not specify if it is for the sport model.

Also while I'm here I have another question, does anyone know if the brake lines are the same between the sport model and standard automatic model? I would also like to upgrade to some stainless steel lines

There are 3 options for the G35 brakes.

2003-2004 with Brembo2003-2004 without Brembo2005+

For 2005+ there is no difference in pads, lines, calipers, etc regardless of package. All the same components.

Just make sure what you are purchasing is for a 2005+

Are you sure that the callipers are the same in all models 2005+, I heard that standard models did not have 2 piston calipers in the front like the sport package does.

 

That was the 2003-2004 non-brembo.
