Noob suspension questions
Could someone help me out here? Which replaces / coexists with each other? If i have springs and struts, that means I do not have coilovers... means I would have a spring bucket. Camber arms delete the spring bucket and get paired with coilovers? Basically, I ordered the Nismo S-Tune suspension and was wondering what other suspension pieces I could replace with new items. I assume the Nismo Spring Buckets... Nismo front upper control arms.. what else could possibly be on that list? Thanks... never done any suspension mods before.
TRUE coilovers replace the spring bucket, there are coilovers that just have an adjustable collar spring that fits inside the spring bucket. Toe adjustment is made at the inboard bolt of the spring bucket.
Camber arms are the ones in front of the spring bucket that go at an angle towards the middle of the car.
Transverse link (commonly called "traction bar" even though it's not) is the one that goes straight forward towards the front of the car.
Look at this kit from Z1, it's complete and has everything you need. Front suspension just needs an adjustable FUCA. Rear needs the transverse link, camber bar, and SPC toe bolts.

I recommend the STREET version, solid bushings are for racecars only, way too noisy for a street car.
