Sorry guys. I left this one hangin. Didnt mean too, just havent had much time to get on the forum.
Okay, enough excuses.
My review:
If your looking to increase the performance (for tracking or a getaway car when robbing banks) these are not for you. I would recommend these as a replacement to stock and to stay as close to stock specs as possible.
For the price, I think these are more than worth it. If I had the chance to buy them again I would and will be from here on out.
They are not as touchy as the stock pads/rotors which translates into not having the same stopping power/distances as factory BUT...it is not too far off and still offers very comprable stopping power.
I commutte about 2+ hrs a day and have had to make several sudden stops since installing this setup and have not been disappointed with the results. I still believe the braking combination has not been broken in 100% and should offer better performance as the weeks go by.
Now as far as the brake dust is concerned. I'm going to say that going with the Hawk pads has eliminated the brake dust by as much as 80%! Thats right folks, 80% of the dust is GONE! Huge differene from the stock pads.
In the end, the kit for what it comes with is a good price. If you dont want the stainless steel lines (I didnt wind up using them), you might be able to find what you need piece by piece for a slightly less price.
I hope I've answered any questions any of you may of had. If not, hit me up!

P.S. I think im going to get an HKS or Stillen rear section soon! Off to do some research

Yeah, if your into spirited driving or tracking, I can see these heating up and not working good under alot of pressure/heat but for every day driving, these are prefect.Originally Posted by codeflux

I think you are confusing pedal effort with stopping power. If you have the same tires on the car as before your stopping distance should remain the same.
