03 Brembo owners come here please!

Alright guys, I had an accident long ago that gave me some scratches, nasty ones, but I also broke my right side tie rods etc. I got it all fixed but the scratches, and I've always noticed this sweak that comes from my front right side. I go so annoyed I even let me friend drive my car at low speeds so I can run alongside my G and try to listen. I even got my Pro Drifter friend to drive my car and try to find out. He says it could be my semi loose/messed up bumper, I was relieved when I heard this but it still bothered me so I sat outside one day and examined my car. I noticed on the caliper of my right side didn't match my left sides. On top of the Caliper (for you OEM brembo owners or anyone that has seen one) you'll notice this rubber thing that is between a bolt and it like caps onto something, I have no idea what that is. But I am missing that on my right side. So any insight? Do you guys think this would be the problem? If anyone knows that that rubber looking thing, please tell me I want to replace it. Thanks Guys!

It's what he said it is. Cap for the bleeder valve.

If it's a constant squeaking any time you move it might be the little stud on the front that prevents you from installing the rear wheels on the front.

Is ur car still under warranty? The break is covered up to 36k miles from Infiniti, and if when u fixed the car also replaced the new break on should give you 12k miles or a year of warranty on the break (any brand). Another problem maybe ur pads wearing out and the sensor sends signal to the computer and it tells the break to apply the brake or so to give u a warning noise (dealer told me that, and i had uneven wearing pads) ... Sugestion is that just bring car to dealer have them check out (becarefull they may charge u for checking, just tell them u have ur car fixed or whatever), then when u get info from the deal of what's wrong with it. Buy parts and fix on ur own, really easy and save tons of money. I had my uncle bought the parts for me way cheaper cuz he has the garage, and took me under 15min to change both brake pads on two sides. Goodluck buddy!

Alright it's kind of been a while, it's because I've been getting my car fixed and working. I was wondering, when I bought my car, it was used, I never got my owners manual, and how can I prove the brakes are covered up for 36k, is this for the non brembos? Because I remember when buying I asked if there was coverage or warranty for the brembos the guy said absolutely not. So yea, some more insight, and I plan to go to infiniti and see if I can get that rubber thing. Do you think it will have any effect on my car, brakes etc. if I don't have it? THanks guys.

The Brembos are not covered by an extended warranty like the Non-Brembo equipped cars. There's not an issue with them, except dusting. Also, come replacement time, parts are expensive. But, IMO, that's a small price to pay for having this superior braking system. I luv my Brembos

As far as your Owner's Manual goes, go hear and print one up.

I'm thinking besides the piston seals, what else needs to be replaced? A rebuild kit is available through Performance Nissan for around $26. Lord help you if you need a whole new caliper.
