Has anyone had a "brake squeel" problem with the Brembo Brakes? Before my G35 comes to a complete stop, the front brakes squeel loudly. The dealer says this is normal and will go away. They even went so far as to say it was the calipers making the noise, not the pads (yea right). It is still doing it and I have 1000 miles on my car.

 

Mine brake squeal went away after about 1000 miles. I didn't do anything special, just normal driving....normal for the G that is.

Thanks for the info. The noise has gotten less notable with the increase in mileage. I will give it some additional time. Other than that, I'm just waiting to clear break-in give the car a real test.

 

Yep, it's normal. Just give it time.

mine went away after the first week... ever since, they OCCASIONALLY squeal at low speeds, like once every 2 weeks. (4,000 miles now)

I have nearly 15,000 on my 6MT and have never had the brakes squeak. The tires occassionally chirp when I am showing off the G's stopping power, though.
