G35 H.Tech or 350Z H.Tech
G35 CPE H.Tech or 350Z H.Tech
Hello everyone,
I've been reading around and I decided I would go with the H.Tech route since I wouldn't have to worry about the camber issue as much, just need aligmnet. I currently have a g35 04 coupe AT. Now which spring to use. G35 or 350Z
My question is, which would lower the G more after it settles and is there any fitment problems using the 350Z H.Tech
. I know the G35 H.Tech initially drops the car .6F/.3R so after it settles like .8F/.5R
and the 350Z H.Tech on a 350Z is .3F/.2R. I forget what the drop is on a G35 using a 350Z H.Tech. What would the drop be after it settles on a G35 coupe using a 350Z H.Tech
Thanks everyone for your inputs. Pictures are welcome if anyone wants to share.
I hope to decide by this week and get them installed

IMO the spring rates for the G HTechs are too soft. (the G STechs are even worse)
It all depends on if you want it for just show and comfort.....or actual performance.
You need to add approx. 1/2" to the estimated drop if using the Z springs, so they come out a little lower overall than the G ones.
I installed the Z Htechs and am very happy.

Is it just me or is there a mix up here.
Htechs(350z) they lower more than the Htechs (g35) The htech 350z drop your car more than the htech g35.
Another question...whats the best strut/shocks to mate with the tein Htech 350z?

H-Tech Coupe springs drop the Coupe .6"/.3".
H-Tech Sedan Springs drop the Sedan 1.4"/.7".
But again, the spring rates on the Coupe/Sedan H-Techs are actually softer than the stock spring rates (especially in the rear) and are "progressive", while the Z H-Techs are a good 10%+ stiffer and are "linear".
And Tokico D-Specs are supposed to be d'bomb matched with Z H-Techs. (Hope so, I've got both on the way for my '05 Sedan!)

Hmmm you've made a statement, but no explanation. Pleae fill in the blank if you would. I think I know where you'll go, but I'd rather let you explain yourself.
