Suspension & Snow?

I live in Chicago and the G is my daily driver. I'd really like to drop it a bit but I am worried about drivability in the snow. I really don't want to drop it much (maybe 0.5 inches or so all around) or get the ride much stiffer...just eat up some of the fender gap. I'd also like to see if I can reduce the body roll a bit.

Is it a mistake to lower the car at all in an area where it snows? If it is ok to lower, etc...any suggestions on what would acheive the results that I am looking for?

you can lower it and get snow tires with a slightly larger profile.

you can't drive on those stock tires in the snow anyway ...
(you can, but you won't want to).

it'll corrode unless stainless steel like KW's. but if anodized, it won't corrode that bad.

i recommend you e-tape the threads on the height adjustment
where exposed to the elements. ive had great success on TEIN HA's
in the past while taping it as much as possible. they almost looked
like new when i separated it from the car to sell.
