Hey guys. Just bought some 2005 OEM revised OEM Z springs and I wanted to make sure they are the revised ones. The rears have 2 red dots along with a single purple dot. The fronts have a pink dot on them. Are these the revised ones with the higher spring rates? TIA

That is also what I got on ’05 OEM Z springs.

On my350z.com forum someone (I think it was Gsedan35) posted:

The rear springs can be traced via a dial caliper, measure .57" and your holding a 04.5 rear springs, measure less and it's a 03/04 rear spring. Front springs did not change …

And

03 springs, have two red dot's with one white dot stamped on the springs.
04.5+ rear spring have a mauve colored dot (call it a pail purple, I dunno).

Does the same color code apply to '05 coupe sport springs as well?

I'll let you know next week. I just bought an 05 sport tuned suspension setup for my 03 5AT Coupe and it's on it's way. When it gets here I'll post up the info if no one else has in the meantime.

Are these from an '04 with UNREVISED springs or did the guy who sold me these lie to me just to make a buck?! I specifically told him what I needed and he assured me that they were off his '04 and were the unrevised version.

Looking at the springs I was sent.... the smaller coils have one PINK or SALMON colored dot with a visible part number M3X01874 and the larger coils have 2 red dots and one white (yes white) with no visible part number.

I just put some oem 4.5 350z springs on my car. I know for a fact that my fronts are lower. But my rear barely dropped or didn't even drop at all. I took a look at the rear springs they replaced and i noticed two red dots and a purple dot. Isn't that the oem 350z springs? What is the color code for the oem 4.5 g35 coupe rear springs? I'm thinkin that the guy didn't even replace my rear springs. What is the color code for the front springs and rear springs of the oem 4.5 g35 coupe? Thanks in advance.
