Tire pressure sensor will not turn off

My tire pressure sensor shot off last week and has not gone off. It beeped really loud the first time but not again. I checked the tire pressure in each tire and they were all good. I put some extra air in each tire and checked the pressure after several days. They are still all around 31-32 so there is no leak. The weather is a little cooler but not cold. Is there something I can do or is this a dealer thing?

It depends on what size wheels you have. For the 19's your supposed to have about 35 psi. Also the light will turn off after you fill up your tires and drive over twenty for about a mile.

I was going to say the same thing. Put them to 35psi, take it for a drive and see what happens. Also be careful not to overfill.

I went up to 35psi and that did the trick. Thanks for the help. It seems strange the sensor would go off all of a sudden when I had the pressure set to low 30's for several months.

is there anyway i can take off the light from my dash, its been 1000 miles since i swapt my volks on and the tire pressure light is still on. its probably from before i swapt them when the light was on due to the low air from the stock 19s.

I had a simlar problem ... the first time my light went off a large beep occured. I checked my tires and sure enough one was low. Driving home for the holidays after about a half an hour of driving the low pressure light kept coming on with no beep. I checked the pressure and none of the tires were low. Restart the car and no light. Drive for a half an hour light comes back on. To make a long story short I had to take the car into the dealer and have them reset the low pressure light.
