Indeed, i would like to change the rear sway setting on my ride..
but just wondering do i have jack the car up to do the changing?
it is for the stillen adjustable sways btw.

Can someone please post some instructions on changing the settings
for the rear sway?

ya I just installed the stillen front and rear and need to have them adjusted...I would love to know as well
also for reassurance, the setting usually goes, soft in the front and stiff in the rear

 

well
that's what most ppl do to offset the factory spec..
since oem specs tend to give understeer for safety reasons

Put her up on jack stands.
Then put the jack under the rear spring cup.
Jack just enough to take the pressure off the drop link of the sway.
Un bolt & change to desired setting.
Be sure to re-torque link.
You may need an open end spanner to hold the ball (under rubber dust boot) from turning while torquing.

Note you can achieve halve settings by using different hole on each side.
eg. 3 hole on left & 2 hole on right = firmer than full soft

 

I was out at the track a few weeks ago and I had some bad understeer issues.

I had soft front and medium rear setting on my set of Stillen sways. Today, I played around with the rear sway bar. I set it to the stiffest setting and the car didn't feel that great. Making a right turn from a stop in dry, the tail would whip out easily (with little throttle). It just didn't feel right. I went back home and I set the left hole on medium and kept the right hole on the stiffest setting. It feels a lot better now. However, I was wondering if it is really necessary to get the adjustable end links for these half settings?
