Newbie,Car feels floaty, help!

Just got my car back from the shop with 350Z Tein S-techs, Hotch. sways installed and a twin turbo kit . My problem is the car feels floaty when i hit a bump at high speeds, the car doesn't really feel tight on turns. When you turn the steering wheel, it takes a little while for the car to start the turn it takes a sudden dip, not a big dip but sudden, into the turn almost forcing me to compensate. My rims are 20's and the sways are set to stiff front and rear I don't go to the track but my driving style is spirited to say the least. i'm new to suspension and stuff, been more interested in HP and TQ, now that i got that what suspension set up should i use. It sounds like the Tein coilovers are good or should i stick with S-techs and do something else. I know i might have to change the sway setting but to what? All help is appreciated.

I am no suspension expert, but wanna try adjusting the sways to start with?
since most people would try a soft / medium or soft/stiff ..to compensate for the natural tendency of the car to understeer

hope this helps,
Godmans

+1. You definitely need dampers that can keep up with your firmer springs. I recently put 350z H-Techs on my '05 Sedan and adding D-Specs made a huge difference. -T

Thanx ken, very helpful. Would you get the ones for the Z or G. This seems cheaper than coilovers will they work as well, and what else will i have to change or adjust ( camber, toe,...)

FWIW, I'm also using the DSP-7's. Since they're fully adjustable, I don't see any reason not to get the "G" version.

right. if you're running 350z springs, then it might be better to use the DSP-9's because the springs are shorter... minimize the chance of spring rattle at
full extension.

but if running springs made for the G, just use the DSP-7's.

Yeah, i think i'm going to try the ones for the Z. See how it goes, are those fully adjustable too.

yep, they're adjustable like the DSP-7's (firmness adjustable, no height adjustment).
