Looking at some track wheels, but need to know if 17" wheels will fit a big brake kit for a 05 sedan.

The 17s are lighter and cheaper, and tires are cheaper... but if they won't fit over a BBK, then who cares...

Obviously, I would assume a 14" or larger BBK is out of the question.

Thanks.

Yeah, 17s should fit fine depending on the width and offset of the wheels. Check out this thread over on my350z for more info: http://www.my350z.com/forum/showthre...hlight=fn01r-c

The stock 05 17" rims fit over the brembo rears. have not gotten to test the fronts yet.

g35brakes.com is listing F&R 13.6" BBK for ~$3600 + shipping. that's stoptech territory.

Often big brake kits with 332mm rotors and smaller will fit within 17" wheels. The conflict often comes with the caliper vs the spokes of the wheels, not the diameter. For those, wheel fitment templates are available.
