Cusco Struts and a big mistake! >=(

well i ordered some struts bars that were "supposed to be a perfect fit" for a g35 from Nakube automotive reps, but obviously it doesnt fit, nor can fit in anyway.

im dissapointed in the dishonesty of Nabuka automotive reps and they way they do business, i cannot return it because they will charge a 20% restocking fee.... so i pretty much got sold something that i cant use

the point is i have a brand new Cusco strut bar made for a 350z and only a 350z, in the box and has the plastic still on it, i hope that some one out there can help me buy it or take it off my hands.....

waited fopr 2 weeks and lost 190 bucks due to the lack and intelligence of a salesman, and of course me

but if anyone wants it PM me

dispute it with your credit card company that the store sold you something they promised you would work...but didn't. it's their lack of knowledge that
lead to your hassle, the store needs to take it back without any fees,
and pay you for the freight.

Sorry to hear about that. I looked into strut bars too, but discovered that none of them fit G Sedans.

Separately, why would you rather lose ALL of your money than just 20%? Personally, I'd return it, chalk up the "restocking fee" to life-in-the-big-city, and salvage 80% of your investment.

That sucks, but have you tried to talk to the shop or the sales person that sold you the strut bar. See if they are willing to work with you because their sales person told you that it will work on your car.

If the store is not willing to work with you then either dispute the charge, or put it up for sale.

Sorry to here that David

Ya man, I just called them today and had a talk with the guy that sold it to me, he insisted that the strut bars I got would be a perfect fit, saying he had over 30 other G owners with them on...... But yet I have not seen any.

He did however is going to send me a email today with all the info and a printable return sticker, it should say that I get all my money back, but if not I'll have to sell it

Over all he was cool about trying to help me out and said sorry that it didn't work out

Ya, I talked to the sales person that solded it to me, and he insisted that it would fit perfect, but after taking a few pictures and showing him, he said he would send me some return papers and just said to send it back, I dunno if its full credit but I'll ask him before I send it

He also mention that he had about 30 G owners that have bought it and that it fits perfect, but obviously he was abit wrong
Just no way it can fit in =T

And ya it sucked that I had to go through this hassle

Why i doesn't fit-engine cover is in the way? Different mounting points?Different angle of strut towers?
Please elaborate, I was looking into getting STB and sacrifice engine cover, but if it doesn't fit at all, then it is different story.

Thank you

mounting is different , the screw holes dont line up, and the way the strut bar was, it wouldnt even fit into it, i have removed my intake to see if that was the prob, but its just a wrong fitment and cannot be done , engine cover doesnt bug it

that is such BS man... have him send you pictures of his customers
with non-modified G engine bays with the bar installed. there's over
30 happy G-owners that use that bar, right? At lease one will send
him a pict.

I want to see this. ****, if he can generate such pict, I want to buy one.

They cannot charge you a restocking fee and they SHOULD pay for your return shipping!

Man it's not even the money, it's the effing principal of doing business!

Get all your money back man. Talk to the owner, manager... whatever it takes. Make THEM pay for shipping it back.
