Kinetix A-arm owners
Are you guys experiencing any noises from your A-arms? I have loud creaking and squealing when I go over bumps or when I turn my steering wheel. Anybody else with kinetix a-arms have this problem? Is there anything I can do to eliminate the noise?
i have them
yes mine squeek when i go over bumps.
i havent greased mine yet so that prolly why mine squeek.
i will prolly take care of that after the holidays.
but other than that i like them.

I have read about others that bought the Kinetix that experienced squeaking after only a few months. I was going to buy them as well but the thought of squeaks made me change my mind, I know that would drive me nuts! So I bit the bullet and bought the EVO350 a-arms. I just received them yesterday. Very well made but overpriced. I am putting them on next week. At the same time I'm installing the SPC Camber Arms and Toe Bolts. I'll post how it works out. I wanted to wait for the a-arms being developed by SPC that are supposed to be similarly priced to the Kinetix, but with the tire wear to my expensive tires I decided not to wait any longer.
when will the SBC A arms be out do you think? and are they going to offer a package for the front and rear?

It's a slight noise when going over speed bumps. Not a deal breaker for me and got my fronts from -1.8 down to -1.1. I use to use a silicon grease, but whenever it rained It washed away. Now I use a white lithium grease and it's perfect. You gotta pull down the red rubber boot and use liberal amounts of grease. Plenty of rain and snow and it's still working. Greasing the Kinetix A-arm is a fact of life. The frequency is up to what kind of grease you use. For the money, it's a small price to pay. They will squeak more as the polyurethane breaks in, but after that they quiet up. I've had mine on for 7 months. Yes, the 350evos don't need to be greased, but I wouldn't pay that much just to get my camber back in specs.
Polyurathane in suspension parts is not a free ride. You gain a reduction in compliance (in this platform meaning bushing deflection), but the price you pay comes in the form of having to pull the parts apart in order to clean and lube them. Hearing noise simply means you've overlooked this fact and it's time for a cleaning and lube.
