Sway Bar Bushing Lube

Does anyone know a retailer that sells Energy Suspensions "Formula 5 Pre Lube"?... I can find it online but the shipping costs more than the grease

It's hard for me to justify $8 to ship $6 worth of product. Haven’t found any auto parts stores that have it.

Any help is appreciated

You might want to look at heavy duty marine grease. That should work as well or better than the white lithium grease you're looking for.

Thanks for the suggestion/advice... I've heard (and read) real good things about the Formula 5 lube... Justin at everythingG35 has had similar problems I'm having with sway bushing squeaks and said this is the only stuff he found that works (it has stayed noise free for several years). After Google searching I read pretty good things... If I can find it at a local store I'd like to give it a try.

If I can’t find it I'll consider your suggestion.

Thanks again

Oh BTW... Merry Christmas everyone

Just a quick note. Remove all the paint under the sway bushing. Its worked great for me, just using white grease.

Wil you still have this problem if you change out your bushings all together?

If you have an Autozone where you live, they carry it.

I tired - the one near me has it in the suspension kits they sell, but not sold separately... The guy said he would consider piecing some out for me if I can’t find it.

I'll try another AutoZone and see if I can find.

Thanks, everyone, for the responses.

This might be a dumb question, but do I have to remove the sway bar or any components in order to apply lube?

Yes, you will need to remove the bushings and brackets holding each bushing. Im actually servicing my bushings tomorrow morning with the formula 5.
