HELP: Lowering Question.

Hi, guys.
If i want to install Eibach Pro-Kit for my coupe, do i also need to get some camber to adjust the suspension as well?

I heard someone said that i need to install camber in order to set the springs.

Thanks!!!!

Its not necessary, but your tires would greatly appreciate it! I had my springs put on nearly 9 months ago, and recently put the camber kit on in the rear. I wish I would have done it all at once b/c I would have used more of the tires, rather than just using the inside 3 inches

I need to pick up some camber arms as well. I'm on Eibach Pro-Kits with 19" Volk GT-7s. The wheel shop was not able to get the camber back in spec when doing the alignment. The settings are really close. They're just barely out of spec. IMO, the investment is worthwhile as you'll save $$$ on tires.

aftermarket shocks will not affect your ride height, therefore it has nothing to do with camber. correct me if i'm wrong.

The shocks won't affect your camber. While you don't "need" a camber kit, it will help you to get the alignment back in mfg's specs and save you premature wear on your expensive rear tires. I should take my own advice .

Absolutely, correct. You don't need them but your wallet will appreciate it. The cost of the camber kit is greatly outweighed by the money it will save you in premature tire replacement. Check them out at: www.camberkit.com The SPC kits are the most widely used by G/Z owners. PM if you have any questions. Always happy to help.

I thought caster camber plates were for changing your wheel position to help cornering, negative camber you can take wider turns and positive camber you can take harder sharp turns than stock at high speeds if I am correct I am for sure no expert on suspension??... I have heard people say your car will be just fine with just adding the springs and nothing else and I have also heard it the opposite...

A certain amount of negative camber will aid in cornering. However, the more negative camber, the quicker the wear on your tires. Most G/Z owners who lower their rides are running with fairly expensive rubber on the rear wheels. It can get expensive going through a set every 10K miles. The camber kits are used by most to reduce the extra negative camber caused by lowering and thereby extending tire life.
