Tein springs on coupe

I see alot of people have these, but is it true that it will drop the car about an inch? Why are they soo cheap? I think I've seen them for like $150. Is the drop noticable, and if I get them, where do i install these?

They are cheap because these are just the springs. Normally when you swap out for lower springs your stock struts will have a shorter life span because they were not made for those springs. Your supposed to get some better struts/shocks that are made for those springs and the price will go up.

Coilovers are more expensive due to adjustability (height and dampening). They also can take more abuse since they were made for either racing or normal driving. They let you further tap into your suspension.

Any shop can do it for you, I do the work bymyself, its not hard at all.

Oh yeah dont forget you might need some sort of camber plates or bolts to adjust your camber (depending on your drop) and get an alignment!

If you had to get the springs, would you get Tein S-techs or Tanabe? Thanks in advance....

I got S. Techs for my G. I like them. Can't beat them for the price too. Yes, the drop is noticable.

There are S-tech's for the Z and the G. The G type has more of a drop and a softer ride than the Z type.

I think it is the other way around. Take another .5 inches off with the Z type. I'm not completely sure so don't take my word as the final answer!

...Tein Flex Type Coliovers! You pay a little more, but they are well worth the costs!

I was thinking of going Tein H-Tech Springs with the Tokiko Shocks. Will this be alright with the strut issue? Someone said that I should even go with sway bars, to help with it. Basically, the stock struts/shocks are for the stock springs so if you replace the springs, you're hurting the struts/shocks. So if I were to go Tokiko shocks and H-Techs will this be ok?
