brake warranty

Was searching for an answer but couldn't find one.

Dealer told me my front & rear brakes need to be replaced & gave me a price of about $560 total including labor.
Told them I needed to get some money as an excuse to come home & check the forum here. Notice some of the thread about warranty on the brakes.
So, I called the dealer & the guy told me that I'm not covered on that warranty even though I have less then 36k because the car was purchased in 11/02 & I passed the 3 year warranty.
Is the warranty under either 3 years or 36k or it has to meet both requirements?

Which ever occurs sooner.............watch out for the next mile stone...the 4 year or 60,000 mile warranty termination..........the exact date of the November sale is critical.

You have 8 months to get everything possible replaced, don't wait until the time runs out to start testing looking for things to fix.......pay the dealer to find something!
