Help to get rid of brake squeel!

Can anyone recommend any help to get rid of the brake squeel? I have had the Project MU NS pads with Brembo slotted rotors for about 2 months now. Every time I start up the car, the brakes squeel for a minute or so until they warm up. Even when I turn, the brakes will squeel. Are the brake pads suppossed to be touching the rotor even if no brakes are applied??? The thing is it is not a slight squeel, but the loudest metal on metal squeeling sound you have ever heard. It's so embarrasing to be driving a nice car with the worst squeeling ever, especially when I'm arriving/exiting the parking garage at UCF...the sounds just echo off of the walls.

I was going to get the Project MU B-Force pads, but went with the NS pads because I didn't wan't the pads to squeel. I am really thinking about selling the pads because the squeel is so obnoxious. The minimal brake dust is great, but the sound is unbearable.

Why would anyone want used brake pads that squeel.
Why would anyone want used pads period?

OEM shims are TUNED to match [reduce] oem noise spectrum.
