350Z springs on 2004 G35c. Please help, I am confused!

I want to get 350z springs for a slight drop and better cornering/handling. I have a 2004 (purchased in late 03), but I am going to get OEM 19s in the future. Do I need anything else besides the springs, like 350z strut bars, or anything else? Which springs do I need - 350z '04.5 and up? Am I going to have rubbing with 19s or a wierd frop that makes the back look raised. How much is a typical installtion price? Please help me out or give me recommendations, I appreciate everything!!

Z springs has been widely discussed here. I had so many questions before I ordered all my suspension upgrades and all found the answer by searching.

Are you getting the Z spring for free? did you consider getting the H-tech for 350Z and combo that with Tokico Dspec? Dspec/H-tech for 350Z seems to be a very popular combo in terms of performance and looks. This will not rub with your OEM 19's.

Z springs would be okay if you want a slight drop, however you should get 04.5+ if you don't want any bouncing problems at the back =)

myabe not the H-tech for the G. As far as i know the Z H-tech + Dspec combo is the cheapest performance/look combo you can get.

what if I just get the H-tech springs? Is that better than OEM 350z springs '04.5+?

Definetly Better, read Gsedan35 sticy post, the H-tech for the 350z are linear spring and are stiffer than OEM spec whereas the G are progressive spring and the rear are softer than the OEM settings, the H-tech will give you both performance and looks!!

How is the ride quality compared to stock using the Z H tech? I know the performance will be improved but I'm concerned about ride quality.

What other combination would be a viable option if ride quality if my first priority, secondly, the most drop without having to go to a camber kit and thirdly, performance?

Please, I'm ready to go but just don't know which direction I should go. With all the experience on this board I'm hoping some of you can give me some ideas.

The unrevised OEM Z springs, '03 and '04, aren't the culprits for the infamous bouncing. It was the unrevised OEM shocks.

Think about it. The unrevised OEM 350Z springs have the same spring rates as a lot of the G35's. The only difference is in the free length of the spring.

The thing responsible for the infamous bounce of the unrevised 350Z shocks was the valving. The revised 350Z shocks have a different valving that targeted that problem.
