Well I have a few options. My infiniti stealership wants $250 to put them on... and i can get it done for about half of that (little less than half actually) pretty much anywhere that does brakes. Now my question is.... would you trust a Just Brakes or Midas or whatever.... or should i just shell otu the extra cash at infiniti? My service manager told my mother today while she was getting her service on her car that i shouldnt let some place machine my rotors because they will probably mess them up and that they cost $700 a piece to replace (yes he told my mother rotors are $2800). What do you do if youre me. I have the pads (hawk hps or whatever theyre called)... and i just need my rotors resurfaced and pads installed and my lines bled.... what would you guys do? THe money isnt really a problem or anything its just more the principle of giving away my money to an overcharging rapist dealership

On the topic.... Do you have Brembos or OEM calipers?
Swaping pads is super easy. All you need is some hand tools and a jack. You can rent all the tools you need from AutoZone though their tools loan program. Which is you pay for them... use them... return them... they give you full money back.
I would stay away from resurfacing rotors. You could do it but there is no need to unless you have some serious craters in them. Other wise... if they are in good condition, just swap the pads and do proper break in time for a few miles and you should be good to go.
I swaped my pads on all 4 corners in like 45 min. You infiniti tech is trying to sell you and your mom. DO it yourself and learn a new skill.
