2004 G35c 18-inch with Brembo
don't be confused, it's very easy.
First, S03 and most summer tires only work well in warmer temps...so
when the average ambient temps go below 45-50F, they don't grip well.
The Pilot A/S tires grip quite well down to winter temperatures so i use
that in the colder months.
Second, my G35C is my weekend car along with my Cooper-S...so i don't
drive it to work or take them out in wet weather. (honestly i hate washing
cars and driving dirty cars). i never take my G35C out in the snow or
on salt covered roads. therefore, i have a 06 Legacy for the commute
and for winter. (snowing like crazy here today in chicago).
Finally, i don't want to flat-spot my S03's so use the stock a/s
pilots for winter storage. I get to take her out maybe once a
month or so in the winter when the weather is nice...otherwise, i
just pressure up high and turn the tire every 2-3 weeks and
charge the battery.
Even if they did swap out my Pilot A/S from a regular summer tire,
it worked out great for me. now i can enjoy the car pretty much
all year long as long as there is no snow on the ground.

...You have summer tires and use all season pilots on your G coupe in the winter, along with your legacy? If you have a summer set, why not have a winter/snow set instead of a/s tires.

M+S.

tirerack only shows summers too, but mine are A/S. the tread pattern
is a little different too from the regular summer Pilots.
not the best pict, but you can tell from the tread pattern that they
are not the summer Pilots. click link below:

i bought the G35c.. came with micheline sport summers..
Loving my car.. woooo so much power!
But i'm still getting used to notchy 1st-2nd gear shifts.. plus it's hard for me to find exact point where clutch catches when i'm moving from dead stop (couple of stalling - embarrassing).. i dont' remember having this much problem initially moving on my old integra..
