How to tell what brakes do I have?

I have an 03 Coupe 5AT laser red with the premium and sport package. I think my brake are about to give up on me so I'm thinking of replacing the pads.

However, I do not know what I have?

Build Date Sept 02, Brembo?
Build Date Sept 02, Standard?
Build Date Aug 02, DCS?
Build Date Aug 02, except DCS?

Can anyone show me how to identify? My Rotors are plain (not slot, nor drilled), but I noticed some bluish/greenish paint in the pad/caliper areas. It's not the ricer paint look on the surface, but more like around the edges.

if it is not gold, you have regular Non-brembo brakes.

or you can look at the fact that you have an 03 at and brembos only come on 6mts

so you have standard brakes

I have an 04 5AT with standard Brakes and just had them changed for the 3rd time last week. All 03 and 04 coupes have brakes (pads and rotors) covered under a 36K Miles Warrenty. Just go to your dealer and remind them about it, they will prob say soomthing like they "forgot all about it." lol they said that all three times to me.

so did i
i got a new set everytime they started squeeking. i went threw like 4 sets.

since you are out of warranty i would pm people that have 05s and have gotten a bbk and ask them how many miles they have on their stock brakes and ask if you can buy them from them. thats what i did when i went over 36k. i got a set with about 400 miles on them.
