stoptech bbk drilled or slotted rotors

Was wondering what the difference is. From my search it appears that the drilled rotors tend to crack more while the slotted are nosier. What would be best for mostly street use w/ slight tracking?

slotted. Go check the FAQs at stoptech. They reccomend slotted for track usage. I've never heard any mention about the slotted being noiser. I belive pad type is the greatest cause of noise (in my experience that is).

I just got the slotted rotors OEM size and all you can hear is a slight WWRRRR sound. You barely notice it. I love the rorotrs but there is so much rain right now that I can really test them.

I had slotted rotors on my Bmw. They weren't louder, just had that weird wrrr sound every once and awhile. I would go slotted, they are safer, and you get enough heat removal for track use.
