squeaking brembo's after replacing. normal or not?

I got 04 brembo pads and rotors re-surfaced replaced and now my brakes are squeaking like a ****. Mostly at low speeds NOT if I brake hard.

I know this a brembo characteristic but I don't think I've had this much loud squeaking before.

I didn't get this before either with my worn pads

I think people on here recommend using something to stop the squeaking when replacing pads.
On a side note, how much did it cost you and where you got the parts?

Any car store like pep boys or autozone will have this can of stuff that says "brake squeak stop" or such. You can usually find it next to cans of brake cleaner.

I got it replaced under warranty at infiniti, all OEM parts.

I guess I could go to autozone and grab a can of that... "stuff"

How did you get Infiniti to do it? What's your mileage and model year?

I would take it right back to them, if you stayed OEM there is no reason your pads should be squeeking. There is a chance they screwed up and didn't put the shims on or something minor like that.

On a side note, if you wanted to try the brake stuff people are talking about it's a red silicone called "Disc Brake Quiet" http://www.autobarn.net/ch05016.html and can be purchased at most major hardware stores. IMHO though you should take it right back to the dealer!
